Sometimes I get booked a couple of years in advance, and sometimes it’s less than 24 hours. This was the latter – they called on Thursday evening for an 8pm performance on Friday! I’m always open for last-minute bookings, provided I have the date and time free on my calendar. Booking in advance is a better guarantee of my availability, but I’m happy to work with a shorter time frame, too!
I played a special solo and background music for dinner at a conference in Albertville, Alabama’s Compassion City Church. They kept my performance a surprise as long as possible! At the end of the evening’s presentations, I played “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” and then continued with classical and popular songs as the attendees enjoyed their meal.
