“Thank you for adding a special touch to our daughter and son-in-laws special day”

Music theory lessons are offered to students from ages 8 through adults, from beginners to advanced musicians. Private instruction is available at my Springfield, Illinois, and Jacksonville, Illinois, locations, and group classes are offered at the Springfield studio.
My music theory students include those who are studying a band or orchestral instrument who would like a fuller view of the workings of music, high school students preparing for college auditions and/or the AP exam in Music Theory, parents of young piano students who want to be able to assist their children in their practice at home, and college students needing extra help with theory, ear training, and musicianship coursework.
Topics focus on the student’s needs and interests, and can cover anything from basic note and rhythm reading to harmonic analysis, figured bass, voice leading, counterpoint, and melodic dictation.
Lessons are held weekly in my home studio in Jacksonville, Illinois, or in Springfield at The Music Factory. Check the schedule at The Music Factory’s website or email me to find out about group theory, composition, and musicianship classes.
“Thank you for adding a special touch to our daughter and son-in-laws special day”
“Thank you so much for your beautiful music! I must have had thirty people tell me how wonderful you were! On behalf of my family and myself, thank you for your time and talent!”
“We just wanted to let you know how much we appreciated your music for the wedding. There is just nothing that could compare to the sound of a harp in that gorgeous setting, and more importantly, we are so thankful for your professionalism and talent! My husband doesn’t even have an inch of musical awareness in his body, and he on several occasions brought your name up and commented on how wonderful you played and presented yourself. God bless you!”
“We enjoyed meeting you and were so glad you could perform at our wedding. You played beautifully.”
“I was listening to Beauty & the Beast’s recordings from a performance and wanted to thank you again for making the music so beautiful and emotional when you played. I cannot imagine it being 1/2 as good without the things you added to the show.”
“We want to thank you once again for playing for our services yesterday. You made the day even more special.”
