Champaign-Urbana Wedding Music ~ Pear Tree Estate

Pear Tree Estate is a beautiful venue just outside of Champaign, Illinois.  With large windows, you can be in the comfort of the indoors, but still see the glow of the fall colors everywhere you look!

Small world – the bride’s father used to have the mail route that included my parents’ house in Jacksonville!  Always interesting to make those connections.

Emma chose “Zelda’s Lullaby” for the entrance of her wedding party, and then went traditional with “Canon in D” by Pachelbel for her processional.  They wanted something upbeat and popular for the recessional at the conclusion of the ceremony, and selected “Here Comes the Sun” by The Beatles.  I followed that up with another Beatles song, “In My Life,” and other popular music as the guests headed to the patio for cocktail hour.

Following the wedding, and a quick harp drop-off at a friend’s house along the way, I was off to O’Hare airport for my next harp adventure – you can read about that here!

I play for weddings throughout Central Illinois, and would love to hear from you with the details of your wedding day!  Get in touch via my website:  Champaign Harpist for Weddings.
