I have played for several weddings at Funks Grove, many of which have taken place outdoors in the Chapel of the Templed Trees. A rainy Friday the 13th moved this ceremony indoors, and the historic chapel on the grounds was a beautiful and cozy back-up!
Katelyn and Chris didn’t want traditional music for their ceremony. The harp is perfect for this – a classic look and sound, all while playing covers of songs you know and love! They chose “Landslide” by Stevie Nicks for the family seating, followed by “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis for the wedding party processional.
The bride’s own entrance music was Edwin McCain’s “I’ll Be.” During the service, the couple performed a handfasting ritual to “All I Ask of You” from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical Phantom of the Opera. The recessional was “So This is Love” from the Disney movie Cinderella.
