The music of the harp is the perfect accompaniment for a romantic Valentine’s Day, no matter where you are! This year, I played for the holiday at Shinto Japanese Steakhouse in Naperville, Illinois. A more modern restaurant, it might not be a place you’d expect to see a harpist, but I’m equally comfortable playing classical and contemporary music!
Whether couples wanted to enjoy sushi, the hibachi grill, or just drinks at the bar, this restaurant catered to their tastes. The music I played throughout the night ranged from Sinatra to jazz standards to romantic classics to The Beatles. Love songs for everyone!
