It is finally starting to feel like autumn! Lisa & Javier were married overlooking the lake in Munster’s Centennial Park. It was a little cool and windy, but a nice change from a couple of weeks ago when we had 100-degree temperatures!
I played Pachelbel’s “Canon in D” as the wedding party entered, with the bride’s 3-year-old daughter, the Maid of Honor, the last down the aisle before her mother. Lisa’s processional was “All I Ask of You” from Phantom of the Opera.
They planned on lighting a unity candle during the ceremony, but it was just too windy for that to work. Instead, they had me play the piece they had selected for this time (“I See You, My Beloved“) as a musical interlude. The ceremony concluded with “Aria” from Handel’s Rinaldo for the recessional.
