Wedding Music in SW Michigan

It was a rainy day at Tabor Hill Winery – just like the last time I was there! Fortunately, even with the ceremony going on outside in the drizzle, I am able to set up the harp in the nearby reception tent, and mic the harp so it can be heard outside.

With guests gathering inside the tent before heading outside, they could hear (and see!) the harp perfectly for the prelude music. As the wedding party came down the aisle, I played the Elvis favorite, “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”

Emily’s bridal processional went traditional, with the Wagner “Bridal Chorus” – aka “Here Comes the Bride.” For the unity ceremony, they chose “Meditation” from Massenet’s opera Thais. The recessional at the conclusion of the ceremony was also a traditional choice, the “Wedding March” by Mendelssohn.
