A 12/12 wedding! Especially during the holiday season, you can have a wedding on any day of the week. Doria and Adam held theirs on a Thursday at Mosaic Arts and Events (formerly the Museum of Visual Materials) in downtown Sioux Falls.

With the room filled with candles to bring some warmth to the space on a cold winter day, they were married in the company of family and friends. For the music, they opted for a very Disney-themed experience!

For the prelude, I played “When You Wish Upon a Star,” “So This is Love,” “Some Day My Prince Will Come,” and “Once Upon a December.” This covered classic to contemporary Disney! For the families and groom to enter, they chose “Go the Distance” from Hercules.

The members of the wedding party on both sides walked singly down the aisle to the traditional English folk song “Lavender’s Blue,” which features in Cinderella. The bride’s own processional was “Now I See the Light” from Tangled.

To conclude the ceremony, they opted for “Romantic Flight” from How to Train Your Dragon for the recessional, followed by “A Whole New World” and “Married Life” for guest dismissal to the cocktail hour, where a string quartet provided the background music.
