Most companies have their holiday parties in December, but January is even better! You can avoid the ever-present schedule conflicts and have your event when more people are able to attend and be more relaxed.
This event was a mortgage company’s holiday party and employee recognition dinner. They had a Greek theme (with living statues, just like in India!), so I pulled together a couple of Greek folk songs to play on the harp.
The party took place at the Field Museum in downtown Chicago. I love setting up the harp right above Sue the dinosaur!
I played as guests arrived at the venue and through the cocktail hour, covering (along with the Greek folk songs) popular songs from the 50’s through today and a couple of classical pieces.
The harp adds a touch of elegance and distinction to any event, no matter the season! If you are looking for a harpist in Chicago, please visit my website – Chicago Harpist – for details!
