Kaila and Alexander were married in the quaint town of New Harmony in Southern Indiana. They held their ceremony on the lakeside lawn at the New Harmony Inn, with their reception following in the banquet hall. The Canadian Geese also witnessed the wedding!
The venue was just steps away from the Roofless Church and all of the other historic sites in town. This gives couples many options for photographs without having to travel very far! As guests arrived, they could hear harp music as they descended the hill to the ceremony site.
Prelude music included “Great Fairy Fountain” from Legend of Zelda and Debussy’s “Clair de Lune.” The wedding party processional was “Zelda’s Lullaby,” and Kaila came down the aisle to “Your Song” by Elton John.
“Concerning Hobbits” from Lord of the Rings was the recessional, played as they exited back down the aisle as a newly-married couple.
