Wedding Harpist in Quincy – Ceremony at the Quincy Country Club

Quincy Wedding Harpist

This was supposed to be my first outdoor wedding of the year, but rain was POURING at the ceremony time!  Fortunately, the ballroom at the Quincy Country Club is a lovely space, too.

Emily and Kyle had some unique music selections for their ceremony.  Some people have preconceived notions about what wedding music can be, but any music you love can be wedding music!

I played modern pop songs for the prelude as guests were seated.  The officiant came down the aisle as I played “The Only Exception” by Paramore.

There was no wedding party, but the groom got his own processional song – “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi!  Emily chose “Chemtrails Over the Country Club” by Lana del Rey for her own entrance music.  Want something not already in my repertoire for your wedding – just ask!  Most songs that can be sung can be played on the harp.Wedding Musician Quincy IL

Wedding Musician Quincy ILThe recessional was the 2024 Billie Eilish song “Birds of a Feather.”  A quick postlude as guests moved to the cocktail hour space on the attached patio as the room had to be transitioned for dinner service.
